Mother's Day

We then went up to Anthony's parents house to enjoy some more food and let his mom know how much
we love her.

This is the blanket we purchased and put pictures on. Anthony had asked his mom what she wanted for Mother's Day a few weeks back and she said "I just want all my kids all around me" We knew we couldn't arrange that, but now she can wrap her blanket around her with all of our cute faces and we will all be "around her"

This is the card I made for her.
My mom only received a phone call due to the fact she was out of town. We did end up celebrating today along with my Grandma Mayberry. I gave my mom a blanket like the one we made for Anthony's mom, but with my family pictures on it. She loved it I have never look so thrilled. I also gave my grandma and mom a bouquet of flowers. Every woman deserves flowers. Lunch was fun and I took my camera with great intentions of taking pictures, but never ended up pulling it out. We went to a family favorite, Chilis, and enjoyed some Molten Lava Cake after we stuffed ourselves with our tasty entree plus chips and salsa.

My mom and grandma are the best and I hope one day to be half the mother they are. Love you two xoxo

Something isn't Quite right.

Anthony and I were heading out, as I stood there waiting for him (he takes longer than I do to get ready) I glanced at myself in the mirror and had a thought. It's May. I am wearing a jacket and pants. I am wearing sandals. this combo is not right!
For:
1. Its May it should be warm. Come on already
2. what am I saying about my toesies. Sorry feet I don't care about you the rest of me can stay warm, but fashion over function.
3. Did I mention it's May and Monday it hailed.

I look like a goober in this picture.

We went and saw Iron Man 2 with 2 other couples and had fun. I felt like a fatty because I had to have my popcorn with extra butter. If I'm going to do it I'm going to do it right. The others had nothing. The only reason I go to the theater is to get the popcorn.

One time I had a popcorn voucher for a large popcorn at the Megaplex. There was nothing playing in the theater so we decided not to see anything, but I made Anthony use our voucher so I could take a tub home (they really need a better name)

*side note* I have a good reason they call it a tub. It's a mean reason, but a good one. When we were there last night a couple was walking out in front of us. Each had a large drink, empty containers of candy, and one large "tub" "bucket" (either one sounds awful) of popcorn. The couple was how should I put this nicely... large and in charge. Just as I looked at my empty bowl thinking that was good. I saw them and thought maybe next time I should be on a budget. Then the man started walking down the stairs and he had a good three inches of bummy hanging out. Yep next time I really should be on a budget...calorie budget...money budget... I don't care a budget. I'll keep my crack in tact.

Anyway so back to the time we didn't see a movie and I took a tub of popcorn home. Well it was scrumptious and lasted me two days, but I was sad and disappointed that I had used my voucher and took the popcorn home, because they time stamp the bucket so I didn't get a refill. Sad story. Well good luck to me Saturday at the 5K I am probably going to die on the side from butter clogging me up and then I'll get a bad side ache and pass out on the side of the road.

Sugar Blues

Ever have the sugar blues? You know when you really want whatever candy or scrumptious sugary item you can get your little paws on, but there’s nothing. Today is one of those days. It’s probably a good thing there is nothing in sight, unless you want to count the gazillion pieces of gum I have eaten. Does sugar alcohol count as sugar? I vote not!

P.s chewing gum does help that sugar craving and especially when you chew 2 at the same time. Spit them out when there dull and then put 2 more in or you can even add a new one to the old so you have 3. Then your mouth is full like you’re eating something. Just don’t swallow it or like my mom always said “it will plug up your bum”

No More Naps

Okay y'all welcome me back. I keep telling myself that I'm going to get back into the blogging world when I have time, but let's face it I'm never going to have time, so might as well just get to it and stop stalking everone elses.

It was a lazy Saturday for me and I just hung around at home. Well too much hanging around makes me sleepy and an unconcious eater, so I napped and ate 1/2 my weight in kettle corn. Needless to say it's 2:30 in the morning and I'm wired typing an entry on my phone with a very unhappy tummy.

Okay so quick update...the summer semester started officially Monday and I once again have a full time schedule and am still on track to graduate in the spring.

Anthony started a new business and I would love to explain it, but I can't. Really I can't, I don't really get it. I trust him completely though and appreciate him for dumbing it down for me so I mildly understand what's going on. Basically he is trading and he tunes me out when he is doing it and stares at these crazy graphs that go all over his computer screen. The green color is good though, so go green.

Chloe is doing well. She recently had a haircut although she doesn't smell like it. She has been naughty and pottied in the house and has been threatened she will be sold next time (although everyone knows that this is an idol threat) so she now resides in the hallway locked behind a door and baby gate. Do the crime serve the time.

Anthony and I recently started going to the family ward behind our house. We were going to a student married ward, but recently the church changed all the wards by the university from student wards to young single adult wards. So we were given the boot. Our new ward has some great people in it and so far the change is okay. It has only been a week so I am still getting used to it.

Anthony and I are going to run the Ogden 5k on may 15th, so you should come out and root for us or even better come do it with us. Were not fast and dont care what time we get as long as the 1/2 marathon people dont pass us.

I have much more to say but my eyes are getting droopy, but just know I'll be back.

baby blessing... NOt our baby :)... nor are we having a baby... anytime soon

We had the opportunity to go to a friend's baby blessing. Unfortunately we got lost on the way and made it just in time to watch everyone sit down. Bummer. Afterward we got the chance to meet Nara Jane Morgan. She is such a sweet heart and is going to be just like her mommy and daddy very tall (mom 5'11" dad 6'8"). She is 2 months old and her feet already fit my entire palm of my hand. Anthony is pretty smitten with her. I told him not to get too many ideas :)
