Labor Day

Did you know Labor Day was started clear back in 1882 in New York City? It was created and dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. That is your history lesson for the day, and also the reason Gold's Gym is not open. Thanks to Labor Day my whole groove will be thrown off for the rest of the week, but also thanks to Labor Day I don't have to go to school today, hooray!!!

Well for my Labor Day plans I plan on..... Well I don't have any. Anthony is of course doing a burn day at work (meaning he works from 7:30 am - 9 pm) so Chloe and I are on our own. I'm okay with it. Thanks to RC Willeys Me, Myself, and I have become really good friends. The best part about it is we don't care what each other looks like, we seem to get hungry at the same time, and have all the same interests :) So I think I am voting for a movie marathon day, a nice run outside when it actually becomes light outside, and working on some homework.

One of my classes at school is adobe flash. It has been two whole weeks and we have done nothing in that class. Word of advice take summer classes. Even though they are accelerated you get straight to the point and work hard and get done; non of this dilly dallying. My first assignment that we finally got its not even on the computer. I have to make a flip book. I practiced during Sacrament yesterday and it is a lot harder than I thought. I have thought about recruiting my 12 year old brother. For some reason those type of things are programmed into boys. You know anything they can draw that can crash, kill, or blow up. He probably has two or three hiding under his bed I could just snag :) If not though, I have thought of a way to rig my lamp into a shadow box.

I hope everyone has a fun Labor Day and doesn't work to hard. ha ha ha.

Just a random thought. Don't you think it would be funny to have a baby on Labor Day. It would fit you know, going into labor.... Labor Day. Then your kid would always have the day off from school. Hmm I will have to remember that.
